The paper concerns the system made up of the differential inclusion \[ (\partial G(t,u'(t)))'+\partial j(t,u(t))\owns0 \] and the boundary conditions \[ u(0)=u(T),\quad u'(0)=u'(T). \] Here, the functions \(y\to G(t,y)\) are strictly convex, whereas the functions \(\zeta\to j(t,\zeta)\) are locally Lipschitzian. The main results state that the system has at least two or three solutions provided that it is ``strongly resonant'' [cf.~\textit{P.~Bartolo, V.~Benci} and \textit{D.~Fortunato} [Nonlinear Anal., Theory Methods Appl. 7, 981--1012 (1983; Zbl 0522.58012)].
