Existence of proper semihypergroups of type \(U\) on the right. (Q2461208)

In this paper the main results are the following: (a) Theorem: The finite proper semihypergroups of type \(U\) on the right have order at least 6. -- (b) There exists a finite proper semihypergroup of type \(U\) on the right with cardinality 6 (an example is given). -- (c) An example of a hypergroup of type \(U\) on the right containing a proper non-trivial subsemigroup is given. The cardinality of the above example is 9. A number of open related problems are presented.
