    The authors investigate the global well-posedness of the Cauchy problem for linear partial differential equations \(P(t,x,\partial_t,\partial_x) u= f\) with coefficients depending on \(x\in\mathbb{R}^n\), \(t\in K\), \(K= \mathbb{R}\) or \(K=\mathbb C\), unbounded for \(|x|\to+\infty\). Consider the following Cauchy problem \[ Pu= P(t,x,\partial_t,\partial_x)u= f(t,x),\quad t\in K,\quad x\in\mathbb{R}^n, \] \[ \partial^j_t u(0,x)= u^0_j(x),\quad x\in\mathbb{R}^n,\quad j= 0,\dots, m-1. \] Here \(P(t,x,\partial_t,\partial_x)= \partial^m_j- \sum_{(j,\beta)\in B}a_{j\beta}(t, x)\partial^j_t \partial^\beta_x\), where \(B\) is a finite subset of pairs \((j,\beta)\in \{0,1,\dots,m-1\}\times \mathbb{Z}^n_+\), and the coefficients \(a_{j\beta}(t,x)\) are supposed to be continuous (respectively, entire) functions in \(t\in K\), if \(K=\mathbb R\) (respectively \(K=\mathbb C\)), belong to Gevrey \(G^\sigma\) spaces with respect to \(x\in\mathbb{R}^n\). Define the index \(\sigma_{cr}= \sigma_{cr}(B)\) as \[ \sigma_{cr}= \sup\{\sigma> 0;\;j+\sigma|\beta|\leq m,\;(j,\beta)\in B\}. \] For \((j,\beta)\in B\) the coefficient \(a_{j,\beta}\) is required as \[ a_{j,\beta}(t,x)= \sum_{|\gamma|\leq \mu_{j,\beta}} a^\gamma_{j,\beta}(t) x^\gamma,\quad \sum_{|\gamma|\leq \mu_{j,\beta}} a^\gamma_{j,\beta}(t)\not\equiv 0 \] and \(\limsup_{|t|\to 0}|t|^{-\rho_{j,\beta}} a^\gamma_{j,\beta}(t)< \infty\). Let \(\sigma\in(0,\sigma_{cr})\) (respectively, \(\sigma\in (0,\sigma_{cr}]\) and suppose \(\sigma|\beta|+ j-(\sigma- 1)|\gamma|+ \rho_{j,\beta}< m\) for \((j,\beta)\in B\), \(|\gamma|\leq \mu_{j,\beta}\), respectively \(\sigma|\beta|+ j- (\sigma-1)|\gamma|+ \rho_{j,\beta}\leq m\) for \((j,\beta)\in B\), \(|\gamma|\leq \mu_{j,\beta}\), and \(\sigma|\beta|+ j-(\sigma- 1)|\gamma|+ \rho_{j,\beta}= m\) for some \((j,\beta)\in B\), \(|\gamma|\leq \mu_{j,\beta}\Rightarrow|\beta|\geq \mu_{j,\beta}\). Then above Cauchy problem is globally well-posed in the analytic-Gevrey space \(O(C: G^\sigma(\mathbb{R}^n))\) and \(O(C: G^{\{\sigma\}}(\mathbb{R}^n))\)(respectively \(O(C: G^\sigma(\mathbb{R}^n))\)) if \(K=\mathbb C\) and it is globally well-posed in \(C^{m-1}(C: G^\sigma(\mathbb{R}^n))\) and \(C^{m-1}(C: G^{\{\sigma\}}(\mathbb{R}^n))\) (respectively \(C^{m-1}(C: G^\sigma(\mathbb{R}^n))\)) provided \(K=\mathbb R\). Moreover if \(K=\mathbb R\) and \(\rho_{j,\beta}= 0\) for all \((j,\beta)\in B\), then the global well-posedness is true in \(C^m(C: G^\sigma(\mathbb{R}^n))\) and \(C^m(C: G^{\{\sigma\}}(\mathbb{R}^n))\) (respectively \(C^m(C: G^\sigma(\mathbb{R}^n))\)).
