Let \(G\) be a finite group and let \(\Pi\) be a poset with a \(G\)-action. The paper under review defines the Lefschetz module \(L(G, \Pi)\), which is a group version of the Lefschetz ring \(L(G)\). Corresponding to the Lefschetz module \(L(G, \Pi)\), there is the notion of the Burnside module \(\Omega(G, \Pi)\) that was introduced by \textit{R. Oliver} and \textit{T. Petrie} [Math. Z. 179, 11--42 (1982; Zbl 0484.57022)], and is also a generalization of the Burnside ring \(\Omega(G)\). It is well-known that the Lefschetz ring is isomorphic to the Burnside ring. This paper obtains an analogue of the above result. Namely, the Lefschetz module \(L(G, \Pi)\) is isomorphic to the Burnside module \(\Omega(G, \Pi)\).
