On the universal Burnside module (Q2467084)

Given a group \(G\) one defines the so called universal Burnside module \(U(G,\mathcal F)\), which is the Grothendieck group of homotopy equivalence classes of certain complexes associated with the group \(G\) and a \(G\)-poset. The main result provides the explicit generating set of the universal Burnside module and states that if \(G\) is a compact Lie group the universal Burnside module is free abelian.
