The authors consider the problems of unique solvability of boundary value problems for the following infinite functional differential systems and positivity for the solutions of \[ x'_i(t)+\sum_{j=1}^\infty p_{ij}(t)\left(S_{h_{ij}}x\right)(t)=f_i(t), \;i=1,2,\cdots, \;t\in [0,\omega], \eqno{(1)} \] \[ l_ix_i=0, \;i=1,2,\cdots,\eqno{(2)} \] where \(p_{ij}\), \(h_{ij}:[0,\omega]\to \mathbb{R}\) are measurable essentially bounded functions and \[ \left(S_{h_{ij}}x\right)(t)=\begin{cases} x(h_{ij}(t)),\quad &\text{for }h_{ij}(t)\geq 0,\\ 0, & \text{ for } h_{ij}(t)<0 \end{cases} \] are linear bounded operators, \(f_i\in L\), \(L\) is the space of continuous and essentially bounded functions \(y: [0,\omega]: (-\infty,\infty)\), \(l_i:C[0,\omega]\to\mathbb{R}\), \(i=1,2,\cdots,\) are linear functionals. The problems of unique solvability of boundary value problems and positivity of the solutions of (1)--(2) are reduced to analysis of scalar functional equations in the space \(L\). Efficient tests of the solvability and positivity are given.
