      The authors deal with a class of Kolmogorov-Fokker-Planck type equations in the form \[ \sum^{M}_{i,j=1} \partial_{ x_i} (a_{ij}(x,t)\partial_{x_j} u(x, t))+\sum^{N}_{i,j =1}b_{ij}x_i\partial_{x_j} u(x,t) - \partial_t u(x, t)=0,\eqno(\ast) \] where \((x,t)=z\in\Omega\subset {\mathbb R}^{N+1}\), and \(1\leq M\leq N\). The main result of this paper are sufficient conditions to establish the estimate \[ \sup_{B_r(z_0)}u^p \leq \text{ const}\int_{B_r(z_0)} u^p, \] where \(\underline{B_r(z_0)}\subset \Omega\).
