The authors investigate a free boundary problem for the \(p\)-Laplace operator, where the open set \(D\), in which the problem is considered, is unkown and two boundary conditions are imposed. These conditions imply the rectifiability of the boundary of \(D\) and they also yield the solution to certain symmetry problems.
