The authors in the paper under review consider so called \(Q_K\) spaces which are generalizations of the earlier introduced \(Q_p\) spaces. For a function \(K:[0,\infty)\to[0,\infty)\), the space \(Q_K\) consists of all analytic functions \(f\) in the unit disk \(\mathbb D\) for which \[ \| f\|_{Q_K}^2=\sup_{a\in\mathbb D}\int_{\mathbb D}| f'(z)| ^2K(g(z,a))\,dA(z)<\infty, \] where \(g(z,a)\) is the Green function of \(\mathbb D\). With certain natural conditions on the behaviour of the function \(K\) the authors are able to extend the upper estimate for the norm of Hadamard product \(f\star g\) to the case \(f\in Q_K\) and \(g\) belongs to some appropriate space. Previously in literature this has been done for \(\| f\star g\|_{\mathcal B}\) as \(f,g\in \mathcal B\) by \textit{J. M. Anderson, J. Clunie} and \textit{Ch. Pommerenke} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 270, 12--37 (1974; Zbl 0292.30030)]. \textit{M. Mateljevic} and \textit{M. Pavlovic} [Pac. J. Math. 146, No. 1, 71--84 (1990; Zbl 0731.30029)] gave an upper estimate for \(\| f\star g\|_{\text{BMOA}}\) as \(f\in \text{BMOA}\), \(g\in\mathcal B\). In [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 258, No. 2, 415--428 (2001; Zbl 0980.30024)] the reviewer, \textit{D. Girela} and \textit{H. Wulan} considered \(\| f\star g\|_{Q_p}\) when \(f\in Q_p\), \(g\in\mathcal B\) with an extra condition that the coefficients of \(f\) are positive. \textit{M. Pavlovic} [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 305, No. 2, 589--598 (2005; Zbl 1074.30033)] got rid of this condition and studied the general case \(\| f\star g\|_{Q_p}\) for \(f\in Q_p\), \(g\in\mathcal B\). As an example from several interesting results one can mention the following Theorem: If \(f\in Q_K\) and \(g\in\mathcal B\), then \(f\star g\in Q_K\) and \(\| f\star g\|_{Q_K}\leq C\| f\|_{Q_K}\| g\|_{\mathcal B}\), where \(\| g\|_{\mathcal B}=\sup_{z\in\mathbb D}(1-| z| ^2)| g'(z)| \). On the other hand, if \(f\in Q_K\) and \(g\in H^p\) (\(p\geq2\)), then \(f\star g\in Q_K\) and \(\| f\star g\|_{Q_K}\leq C\| f\|_{Q_K}\| g\|_{H^p}\). In both cases the weight function \(K\) satisfies the same extra condition and \(C\) is some constant. It is also shown that using some other conditions for \(K\) it is possible in the upper estimate to have mean Lipschitz norms.
