The authors generalize the recent results of the reviewer [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 131, No. 4, 1243--1250 (2003; Zbl 1031.42002)]. As a consequence, they find that the generalized jumps of a function \(f\in L^1(\mathbb{T})\) can be determined by the higher-order partial derivatives of the Abel-Poisson means of the Fourier series of \(f\). A number of the authors investigated the determination of jumps in terms of the higher-order derivatives of the partial sums of Fourier series. The present authors obtain better results by applying Abel-Poisson means instead of partial sums.
