Vortex-lines motion for the Ginzburg-Landau equation with impurity (Q2475320)

This paper deals with the study of the Ginzburg-Landau equation in anisotropic media, which is described by a variable potential \(a(x)\). The author establishes convergence results and studies the asymptotic behavior of minimizers to the associated Ginzburg-Landau energy functional. The analysis is developed in three dimensions and takes into account the inhomogeneous term \(a(x)\). The proofs combine adequate elliptic estimates, variational methods and standard arguments in geometric measure theory.
