The authors in this paper consider the linear Schrödinger operator of the form \(-\Delta+V\) in a periodic setting with double or resonant eigenvalues. The authors introduce \(\sum_{j,k}=\{V\in B_s \mid \lambda_j(V)=\lambda_k(V) \} \) and \(\sum_{j,k}^\varepsilon= \{V\in B_s \mid d_{_{B_s}}(V,\sum_{j,k})<\varepsilon \}, \) where \(B_s\) denotes the usual Besov spaces \(B_2^{s,\infty}\). Thereafter, they analyze the geometry of simple and multiple eigenvalues and their corresponding eigenvectors for the linear Schrödinger operator. In fact, they state basic results on the measure of neighborhoods. The main aim of this paper is to bound the measure of \(\sum_{j,k}^\varepsilon\) by \(C\varepsilon^2 \) for some constant \(C\). Finally, the authors present measure estimates evaluating neighborhoods of the double or resonant set.
