The prime graph of a finite group \(G\) is a simple graph whose vertices are the set of primes dividing the order of \(G\), and two distinct vertices \(p\) and \(q\) are joined by an edge if \(G\) has an element of order \(pq\). If \(C_1,C_2,\dots,C_t\) are the connected components of this graph, then the order of \(G\) can be expressed as the product \(m_1m_2\cdots m_t\) where the prime divisors of each \(m_i\) are in \(C_i\), \(i=1,2,\dots,t\). The numbers \(m_1,m_2,\dots,m_t\) are called the order components of \(G\). In the paper under review the authors prove that the unitary group \(\text{PSU}(p+1,q)\) is uniquely determined by its order components if and only if \(q+1\) divides \(p+1\).
