    The authors consider the following initial value problem of a difference-delay equation \[ \begin{aligned} x(t) &= \sum_{k=1}^{m} A_k x(t-h_k) + F(t, x(t-h_1),\dots, x(t-h_m))+ f(t), \quad t>0, \\ x(t)&= \varphi(t), \quad t\in [-1,0]. \end{aligned} \] Suppose that \[ \| F(t,u_1,\dots,u_m)\| \leq \sum_{k=1}^{m}\nu_k \| u_k\| \] and \(\nu:=\nu_1+\dots+\nu_m\) satisfies \(\nu \sup_{| z| =1}\| K^{-1}(z)\| <1\), where \(K(w):=I-\sum_{k=1}^{m} A_k w^{h_k}\), \(w\in\mathbb{C}\). The authors give an estimate to its solution. On the basis of the estimate they obtain criteria for stability and boundedness of solutions.
