The authors consider an inexact Newton method for solving the operator equation \(f(x)=0\), where \(f\) maps an open convex subset of a Banach space to another Banach space and is Fréchet differentiable. Semi-local convergence results as well as an affine invariant theorem is shown for the case that the Fréchet derivative of \(f\) is Hölder continuous.
