Milnor has conjectured that, as a function of the dihedral angles of spherical or hyperbolic \(n\)-simplices, the volume \(V_n\) extends continuously to the closure \(\overline{\mathbb A}\) of the space \(\mathbb A\) of allowable angles and, moreover, vanishes on \(a \in \partial{\mathbb A}\) exactly when \(a\) lies in the closure of the space of angles of Euclidean simplices. The first conjecture has been proved by \textit{F. Luo} [Commun. Contemp.\ Math. 8, No. 3, 411--431 (2006; Zbl 1112.52006)]. Here, the present author proves both conjectures, giving sharper regularity results and extending the method to all convex polytopes. In the special case of \(\mathbb H^3\) there is also a precise description of the boundary of the space of angles of general convex polyhedra. The proofs are all relatively straightforward.
