The generalized Fresnel integrals are defined and studied in the paper. These integrals are considered for a finite number of variables. A convergence of the generalized Fresnel integrals is considered in the sence of distributions. The theorem is proved about their existence for a phase factor in the exponential multiplier satisfying conditions that it is twice continuously differentiable and the set of its critical points is finite. Then the generalized Parseval equality is proved for phase factors being polynomials. Characteristic functionals of measures are considered in this study. For square polynomials this encompasses the Fresnel integral and for cubic polynomials that of Airy as the particular cases. Finally, asymptotic expansions of the generalized Fresnel integrals are developed with the help of the Stirling formula and for functions subject to special conditions particularly having finite moments. Expansions are given in power series of a small parameter, depending on an order of a polynomial phase factor in the exponential multiplier.
