Equivariant extensions of categorical groups (Q2487466)

If \(\Gamma\) is a group, then the category of \(\Gamma\)-graded categorical groups is equivalent to the category of categorical groups supplied with a coherent left action from \(\Gamma\). Using this fact and the homotopy classification of graded categorical groups and their homomorphisms the authors present Schreier theory for equivalent extensions of categorical groups (Theorem 3.2) and a classification theorem of the set of equivalence classes of equivalent categorical group extensions, including obstruction theory (Theorem 3.3).
