The problem of stability of a zero solution to the system of ODEs with first integral is solved. Using the above system as an example, the concept of the choice of a control employing in a substantial way the properties of a closed system is displayed. In developing the control, of interest are some or other properties of a closed system, including that the system belong to one or another partial class. The material presented makes it possible to show, by way of the example, the justification of such an assertion. The concept of using the properties of the system admitting the first integral is illustrated by means of a neutral system with two degrees of freedom.
