Roots and polynomials as homeomorphic spaces (Q2489560)

The authors give a new proof of the classical result on the continuity of the roots of a polynomial with complex coefficients with respect to the coefficients, and the continuity of the coefficients with respect to the roots. The proof is based on the study of the metric space of the roots. The theorem on the continuity is established through a homeomorphism.
