Hyper-para-Hermitian manifolds with torsion (Q2489569)

This paper introduces the notion of hyper-para-Hermitian structure with torsion. The hyper-para-Hermitian structure is the semi-Riemannian version of the hyper-Hermitian situation, namely the manifold is endowed with two almost product structures and one almost complex structure satisfying the paraquaternionic identities and with a compatible (necessarily neutral) metric. The existence of a compatible connection is studied, the analogues of the known characterizations from the definite case are given. Moreover, some new characterizations are also provided. A wide class of examples is constructed on compact and non compact homogeneous manifolds. Finally, the local existence of potential functions for such structures is proved.
