The authors consider the Cauchy problem \[ D_t^pu(t,x)= \sum_{j<p}a_{jq} (t, x)D^j_tD^q_xu(t,mx),\;(t,x)\in\mathbb{R}\times \mathbb{R}, \] \[ D^k_tu(0,x)=v_k(x),\;k=0, \dots,p-1. \] In the sum the index \(q\) runs over a finite set, and the operator is not necessarily Kowalevskian, i.e., we allow \(q>p\). The real number \(m\) is a shrinking parameter, \(0<m<1\). The coefficients \(a_{jq}\) are polynomial with respect to \(x\), with degree not exceeding \(q\), and analytic with respect to~\(t\). The authors prove global well-posedness of the problem, in the class of the functions analytic with respect to \(t\), of Gevrey class with respect to \(x\).
