Let \(k\) be a fixed field with \(\text{char}(k)\neq 2\), \(H_4\) the 4-dimensional Sweedler Hopf \(k\)-algebra (which is a special case of Taft's Hopf algebra) and \(D_4:=H_4^{*cop}\bowtie H_4\) be the Drinfel'd quantum double of \(H_4\). In addition to definitions and some preliminaries, a list of all indecomposable \(D_4\)-modules \(M\) with \(\dim(M)\leq 4\) according to their Loewy length is included in Section 1. There are 29 types of \(4\)-dimensional Yetter-Drinfel'd \(H_4\)-module algebras, 5 types of which produce \(H_4\)-Azumaya algebras. The authors classify in Section 2 all \(4\)-dimensional Yetter-Drinfel'd \(H_4\)-module algebras (according to their \(D_4\)-module structures) and in Section 3 all \(4\)-dimensional \(H_4\)-Azumaya algebras. In the last section they examine the \(D_4\)-module algebras described in Section 2, whose underlying algebras are isomorphic to \(M_2(k)\) of \(2\times 2\)-matrices with entries in \(k\) to classify all Yetter-Drinfel'd \(H_4\)-module algebras on \(M_2(k)\). In particular, the authors answer a question raised by H.-J. Schneider and S. Montgomery on how many non-isomorphic \(H_4\)-Azumaya structures exist on \(M_2(k)\).
