The authors complete the reduction of Sasakian manifolds with the non-zero case by showing that \textit{C. Willett}'s contact reduction [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 354, 4245--4260 (2002; Zbl 1018.53038)] is compatible with the Sasakian structure. Then, they prove the compatibility of the non-zero Sasakian (in particular, contact) reduction with the reduction of the Kähler (in particular, symplectic) cone. Moreover, the authors provide examples obtained by actions of tori \(T^2\) on the sphere \(S^7\) endowed with the standard Sasakian structure. In the last section, they prove that the reduced space at 0 of a Sasakian manifold with positive \(\phi\)-sectional curvature has strictly positive \(\phi\)-sectional curvature.
