Abstract: We complete the reduction of Sasakian manifolds with the non-zero case by showing that Willett's contact reduced space is compatible with the Sasakian structure. We then prove the compatibility of the non-zero Sasakian (in particular, contact) reduction with the reduction of the K"ahler (in particular, symplectic) cone. We provide examples obtained by toric actions on Sasakian spheres and make some comments concerning the curvature of the quotients.

The authors complete the reduction of Sasakian manifolds with the non-zero case by showing that \textit{C. Willett}'s contact reduction [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 354, 4245--4260 (2002; Zbl 1018.53038)] is compatible with the Sasakian structure. Then, they prove the compatibility of the non-zero Sasakian (in particular, contact) reduction with the reduction of the Kähler (in particular, symplectic) cone. Moreover, the authors provide examples obtained by actions of tori \(T^2\) on the sphere \(S^7\) endowed with the standard Sasakian structure. In the last section, they prove that the reduced space at 0 of a Sasakian manifold with positive \(\phi\)-sectional curvature has strictly positive \(\phi\)-sectional curvature.
