    Let \(\{\lambda_n\}_{n\in \mathbb Z}\) and \(\{\rho_n\}_{n\in \mathbb Z}\) be sequences of real numbers. It is known that if the complex exponentials \(\{e^{i\lambda_nx}\}_{n\in \mathbb Z}\) form a frame for \(L^2(-\pi,\pi)\) and \(\sup_n| \lambda_n - \rho_n| \) is sufficiently small, then also \(\{e^{i\rho_nx}\}_{n\in \mathbb Z}\) is a frame for \(L^2(-\pi,\pi)\). It is proved that the known bound on \(\sup_n| \lambda_n - \rho_n| \) \ can be improved slightly if there exists some \(\delta >0\) such that \(\delta \leq | \lambda_n - \rho_n| \) for all \(n\in \mathbb Z\).
