Riesz bases of solutions of Sturm-Liouville equations (Q5939346)

This article concerns the stability of orthogonal bases of solutions of Sturm-Liouville equations with different types of initial conditions. The investigation is based on the stability of Riesz bases of cosines and sines in the Hilbert space \(L^2[0, 2\pi]\) and uses a perturbation theorem for Riesz bases of \textit{S. J. Favier} and the reviewer [Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 2, No. 2, 160-173 (1995; Zbl 0829.46006)] (see also [\textit{P. G. Casazza} and \textit{O. Christensen}, J. Fourier Anal. Appl. 3, No. 5, 543-557 (1997; Zbl 0895.47007)]).
