The author employs the Sinc-Galerkin method [see \textit{F. Stenger}, Numerical methods based on Sinc and analytic functions. Springer Series in Computational Mathematics. 20. New York, NY: Springer-Verlag (1993; Zbl 0803.65141)] to solve certain time dependent partial differential equations subject to given boundary and initial conditions. Various special cases of the problem considered here correspond to the heat problem, convection diffusion problem, wave problem, Euler-Bernoulli beam problem etc. Some numerical examples are also presented where the exact solution is explicitly given.
