Higher order asymptotics of Toeplitz determinants with symbols in weighted Wiener algebras (Q2493031)

This paper is devoted to extend some results of \textit{A.~Böttcher} and \textit{B.~Silbermann} on the asymptotics of determinants of block Toeplitz matrices [see Math.\ Nachr.\ 98, 183--210 (1980; Zbl 0468.47016) and Colloq.\ Math.\ Soc.\ János Bolyai 35, 1063--1073 (1983; Zbl 0536.47024)], which were derived in the context of Wiener algebras with power weights, to the case of Wiener algebras with general weights satisfying some submultiplicativity, monotonicity, and regularity conditions. The main result of the paper (Theorem 20) is shown to be stronger than the corresponding result of the above cited authors (Theorem 21).
