In [\textit{S. Ball} and \textit{M. R. Brown}, Adv. Math. 189, 68--87 (2004; Zbl 1142.12305)] it is shown that six semifields naturally arise from a given rank two commutative semifield. These semifields are naturally grouped as two sets of three semifields each, based on Knuth's cubical array. In the paper under review the author gives a geometrical link between those two sets of three semifields. The key idea is to use dual translation ovoids as defined in [\textit{G. Lunardon}, J. Geom. 76, 200--215 (2003; Zbl 1042.51008)].
