It is well known from the Ramsey theory that for any given system of positive integers \(a_1,\dots ,a_m\) and any finite coloration of the natural numbers \(\mathbb N\) there exists an infinite series of integers \(0< x_1 < x_2 <\dots \) such that all sums of the form \(\sum_{i=1}^m a_i x_i\) have the same color. In the consistency version of this problem we have another system of natural numbers \(b_1,\dots ,b_n\) as well and we are interested whether for any finite coloration of \(\mathbb N\) there are parallel infinite monochromatic classes for both systems with the same color. This problem was solved affirmatively just recently. This nice paper gives a very short new proof of this fact.
