The authors consider the impulsive delay differential equation (1) \(y'(t)=-(1+y(t))f(t,y(g(t))),\;t\neq \tau_k,\;t\geq 0\) a.e., \(y(\tau_k^+)=(1+b_k)y(\tau_k),\;k=1,2,\dots\), under the assumptions \((A_1)\) \(0\leq\tau_1<\tau_2<\dots <\tau_k<\dots\) are given points with \(\lim_{k\to\infty}\tau_k=\infty\);\newline (\(A_2\))\ \ \(f(t,y):[0,\infty)\times\mathbb R\to\mathbb R \) satisfies Carathéodory conditions; \((A_3)\) \(g(t):[0,\infty)\to\mathbb R\) is Lebesgue measurable, \(g(t)\leq t,\;\lim_{t\to\infty}g(t)=\infty\); \((A_4)\) \(\{b_k\}\) is a sequence of constants and \(b_k>-1,\;k=1,2,\dots\). Here, sufficient conditions for oscillation and nonoscillation of solutions of the equation (1) are presented. Some generalization is made for the equation \[ y'(t)=-(1+y(t))\sum_{i=1}^mf_i(t,y(g_i(t))),\;t\neq \tau_k,\;t\geq 0\text{ a.e., } y(\tau_k^+)=(1+b_k)y(\tau_k),\;k=1,2,\dots. \] Special attention is devoted to a delay logistic equation.
