Euler class groups as suggested by M.~V.~Nori more than a decade ago have been extensively studied by various authors and has proved indispensable in proving theorems about projective modules of rank equal to the dimension of the underlying ring. In the setting of affine algebras over an algebraically closed fields, these theorems were proved by \textit{M.~P.~Murthy} [Ann. Math. (2) 140, No. 2, 405--434 (1994; Zbl 0839.13007)] using Chow groups. Chow groups are inadequate for the study of similar problems over more general rings and Euler Class groups helped answer these questions satisfactorily in these settings. Both Chow groups and Euler class groups are adequate only in the case of study of projective modules over a noetherian ring \(A\) of rank \(n=\dim A\). The author had extended these definitions to Euler class groups \(E^n(A[x])\) a polynomial ring over \(A\) where \(n=\dim A\) [J. Algebra 264, 582--612 (2003; Zbl 1106.13300)]. The author extends his results from that paper and shows that there exists a group homomorphism \(E^n(A[x])\to E(A)\) which splits the natural homomorphism \(E(A)\to E^n(A[x])\).
