\textit{M. L. Leite} [Manuscr. Math. 67, No. 3, 285--304 (1990; Zbl 0695.53040)] classified the complete rotational hypersurfaces with constant scalar curvature in space forms. In the particular case of the sphere \(S^{n}\left( 1\right) \) she asserts that: There are no complete embedded rotational hypersurfaces with constant scalar curvature \(\left( n-1\right) \left( n-2\right) S\), for \(S\geq 1\), other than a sphere of radius \(1/\sqrt{S}\) and a product of spheres. In the paper under review the authors claim that Leite's assertion is incorrect for \(4\leq n\leq 6\), \(S>1\) and \(n>7\), \(1<S< \left (n+1\right)/\left(n-1\right)\).
