The paper is a continuation of previous works of these authors and is devoted to the investigation of limit cycles for type \((\text{III})_{m=0}\) of quadratic systems according to Ye's classification. One of the aims of this paper is to prove that such a system has at most one limit cycle under certain conditions. The uniqueness of a limit cycle is proved by transforming the system into a Liénard system.
