The authors define an \(\alpha\)-favourable space by considering the Banach-Mazur game in which two players \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) select alternatively nonempty open subsets of a topological space \(Z\). Let \(T\) be the class of Banach spaces \(E\) for which every weakly continuous mapping from an \(\alpha\)-favourable space to \(E\) is norm continuous at the points of a dense subset. It is shown that (i) \(T\) contains all weakly Lindelöf Banach spaces, (ii) \(\ell^{\infty} \not\in T\), (iii) \(T\) is stable under weak homeomorphisms, (iv) \(E \in T\) iff every quasi-continuous mapping from a complete metric space to (\(E\), weak) is densely norm continuous, and (v) \(E \in T\) iff every quasi-continuous mapping from a complete metric space to (\(E\), weak) is weakly continuous at some point.
