Let X, Y, Z be topological spaces and let M be a metric space. It is proved: (1) If Y is locally connected and \(f: X\times Y\to Z\) has a closed graph, continuous y-sections and connected x-sections, then f is continuous; (2) If X and \(X\times Y\) are Baire spaces, Y is locally of \(\pi\)-countable type, x-sections of \(f: X\times Y\to M\) are pointwise discontinuous and y-sections of f are continuous, then the set C(f) of all continuity points of f is a dense \(G_{\delta}\) set in \(X\times Y.\) Moreover, three examples show some limitations in the given theorems.
