The authors develop two approaches for the evaluation of perturbation bounds of the \(W\)-weighted Drazin inverse. In the first approach, the perturbation bound is derived by using the matrix \(G= (( A+E) W) ^{l}-(AW) ^{l}\) where \(l=\max \{ \text{ind}(AW), \text{ind}((A+E)W)\} \). The second approach is using a technique proposed by \textit{G. W. Stewart} and \textit{J. Sun} [Matrix perturbation theory. Computer Science and Scientific Computing. Boston etc.: Academic Press, Inc. (1990; Zbl 0706.65013)] and is based on perturbation theory for invariant subspaces of a matrix. The theory is illustrated by several examples in the end of each section.
