    Let \(H^p(B_n)\) denote the Hardy space on the unit ball of \(\mathbb{C}^n\). For \(1\leq p,q < \infty\), the space \(\Lambda_*^{p,q} (B_n)\) consists of those \(f\in H^p(B_n)\) for which \[ \int_0^1 \omega_p^* (t, f)^q \, \frac{dt}{t^{1+q}} < \infty. \] Here the modulus of continuity \(\omega_p^* (t, f)\) is defined as \[ \sup\left\{ \left( \int_{\partial B_n} |f(U\zeta)- 2f(\zeta) + f(U^{-1}\zeta)|^p\, d\sigma_n(\zeta) \right)^{\frac{1}{p}}: U\in\mathcal{U}_n,\;\|U-I\|\leq t \right\}, \] where \(\sigma_n\) denotes the normalized Lebesgue measure on the unit sphere \(\partial B_n\) and \(I\) denotes the identity of \(\mathcal{U}_n\), the group of all unitary transformations on \(\mathbb{C}^n\). For \(n\geq 2\), the authors obtain several characterizations of the space \(\Lambda_*^{p,q} (B_n)\). In particular, for \(f\in H^p(B_n)\), one has \(f\in \Lambda_*^{p,q} (B_n)\) if and only if \[ \int_0^1 \left( \int_{\partial B_n} |\mathcal{R}^2 f(r\zeta)|^p \, d\sigma_n(\zeta)\right)^{\frac{q}{p}} (1-r)^{q-1}\,dr <\infty, \] where \(\mathcal{R}f\) is the radial derivative of \(f\). For \(p=q\) such results are classical. For \(p\neq q\), related results were obtained by the second author and \textit{K. Zhu} [Complex Var. Elliptic Equ. 57, No. 9, 995--1024 (2012; Zbl 1252.32009)], \textit{M. Jevtić} and \textit{M. Pavlović} [Potential Anal. 38, No. 4, 1187--1206 (2013; Zbl 1266.32004)] and \textit{M.
