The main result of this paper is that ``an analytical expression of the non-Fourier field in a solid sphere with an arbitrary surface temperature change is obtained.'' (p.\,506) The authors start with the motivation and background of the classical Fourier heat conduction law and go over to the non-Fourier consideration. Based on this, they give an insight into the mathematical model: the hyperbolic heat conduction equation. They show different methods in order to get an analytical solution, e.g., by applying the separation of variables and Duhamel's principle and after that Fourier expansion and superposition. Next, they go over to some calculated results for four cases: a sudden surface temperature change, a~simple harmonic periodic case, an arbitrary periodic change, and an arbitrary non-periodic temperature change, including application examples which are plotted and also interpreted. Finally, they summarize the special behavior of their solutions.
