Dirichlet series associated to cubic fields with given quadratic resolvent (Q2512534)

Let \(k\) be a quadratic field. In this paper, the authors, give an explicit formula for the Dirichlet series \(\sum_{K}(|\mathrm{Disc}(K)|^{-s}\), where the sum is over isomorphism classes of all cubic fields whose quadratic resolvent field is isomophic to \(k\). This work is a sequel to [the first author and \textit{A. Morra}, J. Algebra 325, No. 1, 461--478 (2011; Zbl 1239.11115)], where such formulas aew proved in terms of sums over characters of certain groups related to ray class groups. In this paper, the authors prove explicit formulas for these Dirichlet series aver \(Q\). As an application, the authors compute tables of the number of \(S_{3}\)-sextic fields \(E\) with \(|\mathrm{Disc}(E)| < X\) for \(X\) ranging up to \(10^{23}\).
