Explicit eigenvalues of some perturbed heptadiagonal matrices via recurrent sequences (Q2515954)

The author calculates the eigenvalues of certain types of Toeplitz heptadiagonal matrices with some perturbations on the first and last entries of the main diagonal. This analysis can be easily reduced to the analogous perturbed and standard Jacobi cases considered by \textit{A. R. Willms} [SIAM J. Matrix Anal. Appl. 30, No. 2, 639--656 (2008; Zbl 1162.15003)], by the reviewer [Appl. Math. Sci., Ruse 1, No. 1--4, 59--67 (2007; Zbl 1148.15005)] or by \textit{W.-C. Yueh} [Appl. Math. E-Notes 5, 66--74 (2005; Zbl 1068.15006)].
