Description of a helical motion of an incompressible nonviscous fluid (Q2516609)

The authors study the Euler equations on an axially symmetric cylindrical layer. The main assumption on the velocity field is its collinearity with the vorticity field. Moreover, lines of the velocity field are assumed to lie on axially symmetric cylindrical surfaces nested in the cylindrical layer. The authors characterize all solutions of the required form and exemplify their result by deriving a particular solution in a special case.
