Let \(\mathbb F_q\) be a finite field with \(q\) elements. To each quiver \(Q\) bound by an admissible ideal \(I\), the authors associate a certain associative algebra. In case \(q\neq 2\) and \(\mathbb F_qQ/I\) is representation direct and has global dimension at most two, it is shown that this associative algebra is isomorphic to the twisted Hall algebra corresponding to \(Q\) and \(I\). This allows for a description of this twisted Hall algebra in terms of the quadratic form associated to \(Q\) and \(I\).
