Estimates from the below of the hyperbolic polynomials, the noncommutative analogue of the Symanzik polynomials, are presented (Theorem III.1 and (IV.5)) for the LSZ model, a covariant model in 4 dimension [cf. \textit{E. Langmann, R. Szabo} and \textit{K. Zarembo}, Exact solution of quantum field theory on noncommutative phase spaces, 17--87, JHEP 0401 (2004)]. They give an upper limit for the Feynman amplitude of any noncommutative graph \(G\) and power counting follows from these estimates [cf. \textit{R. Gurau} and \textit{V. Rivasseau}, Commun. Math. Phys. 272, No.~3, 811--835 (2007; Zbl 1156.81465)] hereafter we refer to as [1]. The authors propose among all possible Lagrangeans and geometries of noncommutative field theory, renormalizable models must be used. Models of renormalizable noncommutative quantum field theory on the Moyal space fall into two categories; the ordinary models, for which the same problem was treated in [1], and the covariant models, whose propagators involve covariant derivatives in a constant external field. By using the Moyal \(*\)-product, the Lagrangean of the LSZ model is given by \[ {\mathfrak L}=\tfrac 12(\partial_\mu\overline\Phi-i\Omega\widetilde x_\mu\Phi)*(\partial^\mu\Phi-i\Omega\widetilde x^\mu\Phi)+\overline \Phi*\Phi* \widetilde\Phi*\Phi. \] Its propagator is \[ C(x,y)=2\int\, dt_\ell\frac{\widetilde \Omega(1-t^2_\ell)}{4\pi t_\ell)^2}e^{-\frac 12 \widetilde\Omega\frac{1+t^2_\ell} {2t_\ell}u^2+i\widetilde\Omega u \wedge v}. \] Here \(u=\frac{1}{\sqrt 2}(x-y)\), \(v=\frac{1}{\sqrt 2} (x+y)\) are the short and long variables [\textit{R. Gurǎu, V. Rivasseau} and \textit{F. Vignes-Tourneret}, Ann. Henri Poincaré 7, No.~7--8, 1601--1628 (2006; Zbl 1110.81138)]. Then analysing Feynman graphs for XCQFT, the amplitude is computed to be \[ {\mathcal A}_G(x_e)=K\int^1_0\prod_\ell[dt_\ell(1-t^2_\ell)]HU_G (t)^{-2}e^{-\frac{HV_G (t,x_e)}{HU_g(t)}},\quad G=\begin{pmatrix} M & P\\ P^t & Q\end{pmatrix}. \] \(HU\) and \(HV\) are noncommutative analogues of Symanzik polynomial, and named hyperbolic polynomials, because they are polynomials in the set of variables \(t_\ell\) \((\ell=1,\dots, L)\), the hyperbolic tangent of the half-angle of the parameter \(\alpha_\ell\) associated to each propagator line. The amplitude \({\mathcal A}_G(x_e,p_{\overline V})\) is also computed by using hyperbolic polynomials \(HU_{G,\overline V}\) and \(HV_{G,\overline V}\) (Some part of the computation of amplitude is given in Appendix A). \(Q\) is a \((4(2L+n-1))\)-dimensional matrix taking the form \(A\otimes I_4-B \otimes\sigma\), \[ \sigma=\begin{pmatrix} \sigma_2 & 0 \\ 0 & \sigma_2 \end{pmatrix},\quad \sigma_2=\begin{pmatrix} 0 & -i\\i & 0\end{pmatrix}, \] where \(A\) is a diagonal matrix and \(B\) is an antisymmetric matrix. \(HU_{G,\overline V}\) is given by\break \((\det Q)^{1/4} \prod^L_{\ell=1}t_\ell\). A more precise study on \(Q\) is done in \S3, and the estimate of \(HU_{G,\overline V}(t)\) from the below is obtained (Th. III.1). Estimate from the below of \(HV\) is derived from the estimate of \(HU\) and \[ \frac {HV_{G,\overline V}}{HU_{G,\overline V}}=\frac {\overline\Omega}{2} (x_e,p_{\overline V})PQ^{-1}P^t{x_e\choose p_{\overline V}} \] (\S4, (IV. 5)). In \S4, the last section, hyperbolic polynomials for planner regular graphs and some nonregular graphs, such as the broken bubble graph and the twisted eye graph are computed.
