According to Poincaré-Pontrjagin-Andronov theorem [\textit{J. Li}, Int. J. Bifurcat. Chaos, 13, No. 1, 47--106 (2003; Zbl 1063.34026)] it is known that the total number of isolated zeros of the integral \(A(h)=\oint_{\Gamma_h} (Q(x,y)dx -P(x,y)dy)\) taking into account their multiplicity is an upper bound for the number of limit cycles bifurcated from the periodic annulus of the system \(\frac{dx}{dt}=-\frac{\partial H}{\partial y}+\varepsilon P(x,y), \frac{dy}{dt}=\frac{\partial H}{\partial x}+\varepsilon Q(x,y)\). On this base the number of limit cycles and their distribution for a cubic Hamiltonian system under perturbation by higher-order terms is investigated. It is shown that under the perturbed term of 5th degree there exist at least 13 limit cycles with their distribution \(C^{1}_{7}\supset 2[C^{2}_{3}\supset 2 C^{2}_{1}]\).
