The author considers a delay differential difference equation of the form: \[ u'(t)+ Au(t)+ \sum^n_{k=1} B_k Au(t- h_k)+ \int^h_0 B(s)Au(t- s)\,ds= f(t),\quad t > 0, \] \[ u(s)= g(s),\quad s\in[-h,0], \] where \(A\) is a positive self-adjoint operator acting on a Hilbert space \(H\) and such that the inverse operator exists and is compact. Precise estimates of the solution of the equation are obtained. Results are given on the expansion of the solution into a sum of a linear combination of exponential solutions for the homogeneous equation and a function with a smaller power of the exponential growth.
