      An operator \(T\) satisfies Weyl's theorem if the only values of \(\mu\) in the spectrum of \(T\) such that the Fredholm index of \(T-\mu I\) is zero are eigenvalues of \(T\) of finite geometric multiplicity. Many classes of operators with various hyponormality conditions satisfy Weyl's theorem. The paper under review proves Weyl's property for a wider class of algebraically totally hereditarily normaloids. These are operators \(T\) for which there exists a nonzero polynomial \(p\) such that any invertible restriction of \(p(T)\) to its invariant subspace is a normaloid.
