    For any multi-index \( \mathbf k=(k_1, k_2,\dots,k_n)\), \(k_i\in \mathbb{N}\) define the weight \(k:=k_1+k_2+\dots+k_n\) and height \(s:=\sharp\{i| k_i>1\}\). By \(I_0(k, s)\) define the set of multi-indices \( \mathbf k\) of weight \(k\) and height \(s\) with the requirement that \(k_1\geq 2\). For any admissible index \(\mathbf k=(k_1, k_2,\dots,k_n)\in I_0(k, s)\) the multiple zeta values are defined by \[ \zeta^*(\mathbf k)=\sum_{m_1\geq m_2 \geq\dots\geq m_n\geq1} \frac1{m_1^{k_1}m_2^{k_2}\dots m_n^{k_n}}. \] The main result of the paper is the following formula: \[ \sum_{\mathbf k\in I_0(k, s)}\zeta^*(\mathbf k)=2{k-1\choose 2s-1}(1-2^{1-k})\zeta(k), \] where \(\zeta(k)\) is the Riemann zeta-function.
