In this paper a tube (oval tube) is defined as a pair \(\mathfrak{T=}\left\{ \text{L},\mathbb{L}\right\} \), where \(\{\)L\(\}\cup \mathbb{L}\) is a collection of mutually disjoint lines of PG\((3,q)\) such that for each plane \(\pi\) of PG\((3,q\)) containing L, the intersection of \(\pi\) with the lines of \(\mathbb{L}\) is hyperoval (oval). Furthermore some interesting combinatorial properties and the classification of oval tubes are given.
